About Hazrat Pir Sahib

Pir Sahib belonged to a small village, Kharriala in Punjab.  Some time in the past, his forefathers had migrated from Kashmir to Punjab and settled there. For this reason his family came to be known as Kashmiri. His family was purely of religious order and very well accepted as observant of Salawt and fasting. People from far and wide used to visit his father for Ta'weez and Wazeefa. Pir Sahib learned Quran and Hadith from his father at a young age.  He was tutored by a private teacher for Aloom-e-Fiqah.

At the age of Fifteen he was sent into the care of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Farid Chachran Shareef (A sufi saint) where he received general education and, also, learned Sufi etiquettes. After some time he received initiation at the hand of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Farid Chachran Shareef and entered the ranks of his followers. He spent another ten years with Hazrat Khawaja Sahib.

Because of Pir Sahib's Kashmiri link, Hazrat Khawaja Sahib directed him to go to Kashmir and preach the True Message and gave him the reign over entire area from Kashmir to Tibet.  Also, Hazrat Khawaja Sahib gave Hazrat Pir Sahib the permission to give out Ta'weez and Wazeefa and accept initiations (Ba'its) from his followers. From thereon, Hazrat Pir Sahib never returned to his homeland. As such, in following of the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (saw), and obeying the directive of his master, Hazrat Khawaja Sahib, Hazrat Pir Sahib, migrated and accepted this exile.

It was the practice of Hazrat Pir Sahib throughout his life to move from village to village and preach the True Message. Wherever he would reach, he would stay for about six months, serve the humanity, bring about miracles, and then move on to the next area and, along the way, spread the blessings to all.

When, in 1902, his master Hazrat Khawaja Ghulam Farid Chachran Shareef passed away, Hazrat Pir Sahib observed fasts for six months and also, observed quietness for six months.  Afterward, he started serving the humanity again which carried on until his demise and he showed thousands of miracles in his lifetime.

He passed away in 1955 in a small Tibetan village, Baqr Bandha where his Urs is celebrated twice yearly.  Many Hundreds of Thousand of people attend his anniversary celebrations.  His initiated followers are spread all over the five continents and busy spreading the True Message and serving the humanity with Ta'weez and Wazeefas bestowed by Hazrat Pir Sahib.

Cleaned the temple, cleansed the mosque - and, scrubbed all your body clean,
But - didn't remove the soil from heart,- then, what did you really gain?
